I'm a mini dachshund breeder of 20+ years. We only use Royal Canin for my pregnant momma's, new momma's and puppies. We don't get upset tummies or loose stools like with other brands, the protein % is perfect for growing bodies and minds and it's very filling leaving puppies content.

I like the food but they seriously need bigger bags instead of 2.5 lbs.

I love this dog food. Our new pup can be a picky eater and not only does she love it, we've caught the cat sneaking some bites of it too! More importantly, because she is a grazer who often doesnt eat much, I have peace of mind knowing that when she does it shes getting all the nutrients she needs without the need for specialized supplements. And with weight being a concern for the breed, I know when she eats more she wont get too heavy. Additionally her coat has remained beautiful and puppy soft. Its worth every penny.
